Have you had
your Joy Juice today? A consistent serving of God’s joy helps us to trust in
Him more.
Trust!
We use that word a lot, but I’m not sure that we always grasp its full meaning…especially
in regard to our relationship with God.
In an
online article, Pamela Rose Williams asks and answers this question:
“What
does it mean to trust in the Lord? It means that in everything you do, you
ought to look to Him for guidance and provision. He is the one that enables. He
is the one that sustains. He is the one that we can count on for every single
thing in our earthly walk.”
Many times
we’ve read the verses in Proverbs 3:5-6 that tell us:
“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own
understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”
It’s easy to
agree with that passage when everything is going smoothly in our life. But what about when the unexpected challenges
arise? When the diagnosis comes that is
not what we wanted to hear? When our
life is turned on end because of a tragedy?
Or when a relationship that we trusted, falls apart? Can we trust God then….even when we don’t
understand???
Yes,
even when…even then…He is a good God and He will sustain us.
May we trust God with all our heart and
know that He is there to guide and direct us along our path of joy.
