Have you had your Joy Juice today? Come on, let’s celebrate!
It’s the 4th
of July! This is America’s Independence Day! We have so much to celebrate ……every
day! We are blessed to live in the grand
ole USA! Though we often complain about
our “state of affairs”, we have much for which to be thankful. There are many freedoms that we enjoy in our
country that others across the world could only dream of! Let’s thank the Lord for our men and women of the armed forces who
continue to fight for that freedom!
Let’s be
reminded today to say a special prayer for the all the soldiers, both past and
present, who willingly have put their lives in harm’s way because of their love
for our country. Let’s pray for the
families of those who have husbands, wives, fathers, mothers, sons, daughters
and other family members who are on foreign soil representing and defending our
American freedoms, as well as those serving in our homeland. Freedom is a treasure and we don’t want to
take it for granted. Neither do we want
to let it slip away from us.
Let’s pray
for our country and our leadership...asking God to intervene and help our
leaders to make wise decisions. 2 Chronicles
7:14 tells us clearly why we should pray:
“…if my
people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my
face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will
forgive their sin and will heal their land.”
