Have you had your Joy Juice
today? Rejoice always, no matter what
you’re facing today!
We are familiar with the Bible
verse in Philippians 4:4 that tells us to “Rejoice in the Lord always; and, again,
I say, rejoice.” 1 Thess. 5:16-18 says: “ Rejoice
always, pray continually, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you
in Christ Jesus.” We “get” that! It’s a
good thing to have the “joy of the Lord”.
But while that concept is easy to remember, it’s not always easy to live
out, is it?
Can we always
rejoice in ALL circumstances?
·
REJOICE
on those days when everything that could go wrong, does go wrong?
·
REJOICE
on those boring, dull, mundane days of daily routine?
·
REJOICE
when we are exhausted from running and racing with work, family, church & civic obligations?
·
REJOICE
when it seems God is not answering our prayers for our deepest heart’s desires?
·
REJOICE
when the unexpected happens…like loss of a job; a broken relationship;
sickness; death of a loved one.
HOW do we rejoice at those times? WE CAN’T in our own strength; but God can strengthen us and give us HIS
joy.
In
John 1:16…the New Living Translation puts it like this:
“From his abundance we have all received one gracious blessing after another.”
“From his abundance we have all received one gracious blessing after another.”
Let’s
look for those gracious blessings today and REJOICE ALWAYS!
