Have you
had your Joy Juice today? God will lead
us to drink in His joy…if we will only follow.
I came
across a beautiful song by Gary Valenciano that captures what we’ve been
talking about this week: Recognizing God’s voice and being willing to follow
Him. Listen to a few of the lyrics:
Lead me Lord, lead me by the hand
And help me face the rising sun
Comfort me through all the pain
That life may bring
There's no other hope
That I can lean upon
Lead me Lord
Lead me all my life
Walk by me, walk by me across
The lonely road that I may face
Take my arms and let your hand
Show me the way
Show the way to live inside your heart
All my days, all my life
And the CHORUS says:
You are my light
You're the lamp upon my feet
All the time my Lord
I need You there
You are my life
I cannot live alone
Let me stay
By Your guiding love
All through my life
Lead me Lord
Is this your “heartbeat”…to be so in tune with God’s voice that you hear Him leading in every area of your life? Indeed, as the song says, “He is our light and we need Him all the time!”
And help me face the rising sun
Comfort me through all the pain
That life may bring
There's no other hope
That I can lean upon
Lead me Lord
Lead me all my life
Walk by me, walk by me across
The lonely road that I may face
Take my arms and let your hand
Show me the way
Show the way to live inside your heart
All my days, all my life
And the CHORUS says:
You are my light
You're the lamp upon my feet
All the time my Lord
I need You there
You are my life
I cannot live alone
Let me stay
By Your guiding love
All through my life
Lead me Lord
Is this your “heartbeat”…to be so in tune with God’s voice that you hear Him leading in every area of your life? Indeed, as the song says, “He is our light and we need Him all the time!”
May
our heart-song truly be “Lead Me, Lord.” May we walk with God and walk in JOY!
