gives us an optimistic outlook on life.
Drink in His Joy Juice!
Joy beats
misery any day! Don’t you agree? All of us have experienced hard times along
this path we call “life”. Bad things happen to good people. Cancer strikes; accidents happen; bad choices
lead to broken relationships; people betray loved ones; parents lose a precious
child. These are all heart-breaking
circumstances. Yet….as Christians we are
told to “Rejoice always”! How is that
possible? There is only on way. “GOD’S
GRACE is SUFFICIENT”!
(2 Corinthians 12:9)
Is that optimistic? Well, yes, I suppose it is. BUT it’s not just OPTIMISM! This is TRUTH! God is
limitless! The best word I can
find to describe this concept is: INFINITUDE!
Infinitude means:
God knows no boundaries. He is without measure. Since God is infinite,
everything else about Him must also be infinite. His supply of JOY is infinite.
THAT MEANS…..
- Though we can’t REJOICE ALWAYS in our own strength, GOD CAN give us His joy! (John 15:11)
- Though we don’t know the best decision to make about certain things, GOD DOES and if we seek His guidance He will show us each step to take! (Psalm 37:23)
- Though we can’t see into the future: GOD KNOWS EVERY DETAIL OF OUR FUTURE! (Jeremiah 29:11)
God’s grace is sufficient to help us REJOICE ALWAYS!
