Have you had your Joy Juice
today? Whether you are at work or play,
your special serving of joy is awaiting you!
This past Monday was Labor Day,
honoring those in the work force. Each of us has responsibilities and
obligations. The important thing is that we each work, to do our part to make the
world a better place.
Christians are “on duty” no matter
what day it is or what time. As
representatives of Christ, we should never “clock out”. We are called to carry
his banner---round the clock, every minute of every day….weekdays, weekends,
holidays…EVERY DAY! And it’s not always easy, is it? Life is a battle. That’s why we are referred to as “soldiers”
of God’s army.
Let’s remember that though we are
all fighting battles, we are not going to fight them in the same way. God has given each of us personalities and
skills to use differently; so when we are tempted to judge or criticize someone
else’s handling of a situation, maybe we should be reminded that is not our
job! It’s God’s! He is big enough, bold
enough and powerful enough to handle every situation.
The only person I truly have the
right to critique is myself. Sometimes we don’t see our own faults. And then
sometimes, we are too hard on ourselves. In regard to the “work” that God has
called us to do, let’s be aware that we can make a difference…where-ever God
has placed us.
