Walk in All His Ways...And Spread Joy!

          Have you had your Joy Juice today?  If so, you should be energized for your joyful walk with the Lord!

            God’s Word speaks often of the importance of our Spiritual walk. Look at Jeremiah 7:23.    “Obey me, and I will be your God and you will be my people.  WALK in all the ways I command you, that it may go well with you.”

            God wants us to willingly obey Him because of our love for Him.  He commands us to walk in His ways….Because, you see, He has a plan for each of us. As the scripture says, He wants us to be obedient “so that it may go well with us.”

            As a loving Father, He wants only what is best.  But he will not force us to obey. He gives us choices.  We can choose to walk in the opposite direction from Him, making decisions that are far from His best plan for our lives.  But we must be prepared that when we fail to walk in the right direction, we will suffer consequences of our choices.

            At times we are determined to walk in His way, but we get tired or discouraged and end up taking a detour---which can also lead to unwise choices.  BUT there’s good news: God is always ready and willing to pick us up when we stumble, and lead us back to the proper path…..and that’s the path of JOY!

Walk in His ways and spread His joy with every step.
