Have you
had your Joy Juice today? Let’s begin
our day with a Song of Joy!
Ruby
Redbird has not a care in the world! She has a summer vacation home on my front
porch, and enjoys the freedom to fly wherever she pleases throughout the day.
She doesn’t worry about where she’ll get her next meal or what she’s going to
do to fill her day with fun. She simply
enjoys the world God has given her….often singing a beautiful praise song!
When our
hearts are filled with joy we should feel like singing, too! The Bible
overflows with scriptures reminding us that it’s a good thing to sing!
- Psalm 95:1&2: “Oh come, let us sing to the Lord; let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation! Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise!”
- Colossians 3:16 : “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.”
- Psalm 147:1: “Praise the Lord! For it is good to sing praises to our God; for it is pleasant, and a song of praise is fitting.”
Do you have a song of praise in your
heart? We can all find much for which to
be thankful! Let’s join Ruby Redbird and sing a song of personal joy.
