Have you had
your Joy Juice today? The joy of the
Lord is alive and can live in your heart, if invited!
The term Living Water is one that
truly holds much deep truth. When we think of water today we may envision
bottled water on the grocery store shelf; sparkling, flavored, imported water.
We may think of the water we use to bathe or swim in…or the vast waters of the
oceans. But what did Jesus mean by
offering Living Water to the woman at the well?
In John 4:13-14 he said: “Whoever
drinks of this water will thirst again, but whoever drinks of the water that I
shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will
become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life."
The symbolic “water” Jesus was speaking of here referred to
water that was flowing, like water in a stream or a river, as opposed to water
that was stagnant. Jesus was essentially saying, "I will flow through you
like pure, fresh water. I will give you everlasting life." And that is
what He promises to each of us, as well.
HE is the Living Water which produces the Fountain of Joy.
Allow the Purest
of all waters to saturate your heart and overflow with His joy.
