Let Fresh Living Water Joyfully Flow Through You!

            Have you had your Joy Juice today?  Just as we need fresh water to drink each day, we need spiritual Living Water to keep us full of joy. 

            In the Old Testament we often find verses which speak of “thirsting after God”.  As a drink of cool water is so refreshing when we are parched and dry, a personal relationship with God fills us spiritually …..with Living Water/eternal life. Physically, we can’t live without pure, clean water. Our bodies must have it in order to stay healthy and alive!  In the spiritual sense, we also need water…the living water of the Fountain of Life which God promises to flow through us when we accept Jesus as our Savior. 

            Only Jesus can guide us out of our “spiritual desert.” He can quench our thirst.  What an amazing, awesome, generous gift!  John 7:38 tells us why a relationship with Jesus is so important.  

“He who believes in Me, as the Scripture said, 'From his innermost being will flow rivers of living water.”

            Consider how life-sustaining and necessary pure water is to our bodies.  Even more importantly, we should commit our spiritual condition to God and allow Him to fill us with His Living Water.

           Live out the truth found in scripture and allow rivers of living water to joyfully flow through you!
