Have you
had your Joy Juice today? Enjoy this
beautiful Fall morning as you partake of your portion of joy.
This time
of year when we hear the word FALL, we think of the season, AUTUMN. But we, also, realize that the word “fall”
means “to trip or lose your balance”.
One dictionary’s definition is: “To drop or come down freely under the
influence of gravity.”
Let’s
consider what “fall” means in the spiritual context. Maybe our definition would be something like
to “drop or come down under the influence of sin”. We are in a continual battle. Our enemy does not want us standing boldly
for Christ. He wants us to “fall” and
fail!
Proverbs 11:28 says: “Whoever trusts in his riches will
fall, but the righteous will thrive like a green leaf.” Be aware that Satan can use good things that
we consider “riches” to draw us away from God.
Having nice things is not a sin; but when we begin to trust in our
material wealth to make us happy rather than trusting God to supply our needs, we
get out of balance and may fall.
Let’s aim
toward righteousness by trusting in the Lord and putting Him above all
things. Stand firmly and joyfully with
eyes focused on Jesus!
Drink your Joy Juice in
order to have strength to stand firm in Christ.
