Have you had your Joy Juice today? God’s love, comfort and joy are always
available.
We know to
call on God in sickness, in heartbreak, in despair. We trust that He will hear our prayers and
comfort us in our grief. But we sometimes question if He will be there when we
make bad choices and bring affliction upon ourselves by breaking His laws.
Remember the
woman dragged before Jesus by the Pharisees. She had been caught in adultery,
which was a clear violation of the Law. The religious leaders were prepared to
stone her to death, but Jesus spoke to her with compassion. Although He in no
way condoned her sin, He did recognize that she was already facing consequences
for her unwise choices. He forgave her, saying, “Go. From now on, sin no more.” John 8:11
Let’s remember that God’s Word tells us nothing can
separate us from the love of God. Don’t allow shame to chase you away from the
Father’s loving arms. 2 Corinthians 1:3
reminds us that He is “the Father of mercies and God of all comfort.”
Receive God’s forgiveness,
comfort and joy.
