Have you had your Joy Juice today? When our problems seems to consume us and
daily life is overwhelming, we need to seek the comfort found in a relationship
with Jesus.
Each of us has problems….and no matter how
large or small, when they belong to us, they matter! What we often forget is that they, also,
matter to God. He is concerned with
every detail of our lives. He knows our
thoughts, our hopes, our heartbreaks, our worries. And though the Bible tells us not to worry,
that’s a hard thing to do.
Recently
I’ve witnessed many of my friends go through hard things…with health,
relationships, decisions, disappointments. It’s our tendency to want to “fix
things”, but often we find that we have absolutely no control over the
situation. That’s why it’s imperative to
remember that to remain strong in our faith, we should stay saturated in the
Word of God. At times we may find
ourselves at a loss for words in trying to console or comfort, but God’s Word
never fails.
Jeremiah
31:3 says: “I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have
drawn you with unfailing kindness.”
Did you see that? EVERLASTING love….that’s forever and ever and
ever………
At
times we question the love of other people, but we never have to doubt God’s
love. When we are distraught, discouraged, hurting and distressed, let’s open
the pages of God’s Word and bathe in the comfort of His constant love.
The everlasting love of God brings joy
unspeakable.
