GIVE...Joyfully!

Have you had your JOY JUICE today?  Drink up and then, get ready to share!

Hebrews 13:16 says: "And do not neglect doing good and sharing, for with such sacrifices God is pleased."  (NASB)  Are you a giving person?  Do you share from the abundance of blessings that God has poured out into your life?  Most of us find it easier to share from our “abundance” than we do when our resources are “tight”! Is it okay to stop giving when we’re in a financial bind?

That verse in Hebrews says…”do not neglect doing good and sharing”. It doesn’t say… UNLESS you don’t have much. Nor does it say, give when you feel like it! The last part of that verse indicates that sometimes we need to sacrifice! And in so doing, God is pleased.

When we give---regardless of how much or how little---it puts a smile on God’s face and joy in His heart!   Remember the story of the widow and the mites? God was more pleased with her tiny gift than anyone else’s, because she gave sacrificially.

Giving doesn’t always mean money or possessions.  Sometimes it may be:
·         Our time
·         Our talents
·         Our abilities or skills
·         Our love
·         Compassion
·         Forgiveness

Regardless of how the Holy Spirit prompts your heart, be willing to share.  Your sacrifice not only will help others, but will bring joy to your heart as well.

What kind of gift is God leading you to share today?  Be sure to share it JOYfully!
