Tranformed with the Joy of Jesus!

                Have you had your Joy Juice today?  True joy in Jesus transforms you! 

                Look at the scripture in Romans 12:2 and you will find these powerful words: “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.”   Do you desire to conform or be transformed?

                First let’s make certain that we understand the difference. 

•          CONFORM means: “to be or become similar in form, nature, or character.”

•          TRANSFORM means: “to change in condition, nature, or character; convert.”

 

           So the question of the day is: Do you want to be like the world in your behavior…which is often selfish and corrupt? OR do you choose to be different, transformed to be more like Jesus?

 The notes in my Life Application Study Bible explain: 

 “Many Christians wisely decide that much worldly behavior is off limits for them.  Our refusal to conform to this world’s values, however must go even deeper than the level of behavior and customs—it must be firmly planted in our minds. As the verse says, ‘…be transformed by the renewing of your mind.’ It is possible to avoid most worldly customs and still be proud, covetous, selfish, stubborn and arrogant. Only when the Holy Spirit renews, reeducates and redirects our minds are we truly transformed.”  

           Ask God to help you “renew” your mind & be transformed with His joy.
