Have
you had your Joy Juice today? IF we
receive Jesus into our heart, THEN we have access to HIS special flavors of
wisdom & joy!
Proverbs
2:1-6 explains how to be filled with Godly wisdom:
“My son, if you accept my words and store up my commands with you,
turning your ear to wisdom and applying your heart to understanding, and if you
call out for insight and cry aloud for understanding, and if you look for it as
for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure, then you will understand
the fear of the LORD and find the knowledge of God. For the LORD gives wisdom,
and from his mouth comes knowledge and understanding.”
Though
wisdom is a gift from God, these verses remind us that we have a committed role
in acquiring it. Did you hear the “ifs”
in that passage?
- IF we accept His words & store up His commands
- IF we call out for insight
- IF we cry aloud for understanding
- IF we look for wisdom as we were searching for silver or hidden treasure….

THEN
we will understand and receive wisdom.
Yes, wisdom is a
gift from God—but only those who earnestly seek it, will receive it. My Bible footnote reminds us that the “pathway
to wisdom is strenuous. When we are on the path, we discover that true wisdom
is God’s and that he will guide us and reward our sincere and persistent
search.”
Let’s persevere down the Pathway to
Wisdom and Joy!
