Have you had your JOY JUICE today? Stay strong, stand firm and drink in the JOY
of the Lord continually!
Often times
our “spiritual houses” need attention.
If the foundation is not strong, our faith begins to sag and groan. If we don’t find a way to repair the weak
places, then when the storms of life come, our “houses” will begin to crumble
and maybe even collapse. The winds of
change, sorrow and pain can play a major role in the condition of our “spiritual
house”. It is imperative that we make
sure our foundation is solid…(built on The Rock)!
The Bible tells us in Hebrews 12:2, “Let
us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith…That’s
the key to a firm, solid foundation…fix our eyes on Jesus…continually! Not just when things are sun-shiny and going
well. But in ALL times—which includes
the messy, rainy days.
If we want a “spiritual
house” that can withstand the earthquakes that come when we least expect them and
the disasters that we are never quite prepared for, then we need to make sure
our eyes are fixed on JESUS. How? By
reading God’s Word, by having an active prayer life, by surrounding ourselves
with friends who love us with a Christian love & who will pray for us and hold
us accountable for “repairing” the weak places in our foundation.
Let’s open our hearts to
Jesus, totally accepting His construction plan and allow Him to create a
spiritual house in us which radiates with His love and joy!
