This week has been a cool, damp, windy, wet one in good old South GA! But today the sun has come out and it just seems to lift everyone's spirits. The flowers are bobbing their beautiful heads with the breeze. The green blades of grass seem to be waving as we glance out across the lawn. The dogwood trees and flowering pear trees are in full bloom, proclaiming: "It's SPRING!"
It is a pleasure today to get out in the sunshine and feels its warmth on my face. But even more wonderful than the blue skies and the bright sun shining through the clouds is the Maker of it all...our Heavenly Father. When The Son shines His face upon us, we are filled with such a warm glow of love. He's always there....not just on certain days. Unlike the sun, The Son is always near in storms of life...as well as the "sunshiny" days.
Numbers 6:25 reminds us:
The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:
When His face is shining on us, we are filled with JOY!
