Compassionately Share God's Love and Joy

Have you had your Joy Juice today?  It’s essential if you want to leave a joyful legacy.

Dennis and Barbara Rainey have suggested some essentials that we need to include in our daily lives which will help us to leave a Godly legacy for our children and grandchildren. The one that we will discuss today is this:

·         Recognize the world's needs and respond with compassion and action.
In Matthew 9:36 Jesus sets the example:
"And seeing the multitudes. He [Jesus] felt compassion for them."

What are you and I doing to make our world a better place?  Are we compassionate toward the needs of others? Or are we content to just sit by the sidelines and let things fall where they may?  How many of us are genuinely striving to make a positive difference for the cause of Christ? Making a difference sometimes means taking a stand against the evils of this world. We should stay prayed up and know what the Word of God says, so that when the time comes, we will be able to stand strong.  We need courage and boldness…the kind that comes from a strong faith in God.

But along with that courage and boldness, we need compassionate hearts which care about our fellow man…being sensitive to the needs of others and stepping in to help. What a wonderful way to reflect Christ as well as modeling a legacy of faith and joy.

Open your eyes and your heart to the needs around you and compassionately share God’s love and joy by helping others.
