May the Eyes of Your Heart See Joy

Have you had your Joy Juice today?  When you are looking with the “eyes of your heart”, you will find Sparkling Joy Juice all along your way.
In Ephesians 1:15 – 19, Paul says to the believers in Ephesis:
“For this reason, ever since I heard about your faith in the Lord Jesus  and your love for all God’s people, I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers.  I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better. I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy people, and his incomparably great power for us who believe.”

Did you hear the term “eyes of your heart”?  Our eyes are what give us sight.    Seeing is very important as we go throughout our busy lives.  Out of all the muscles in our body, the muscles that control our eyes are the most active. Those are our physical eyes…But what about our “spiritual eyes”…the “eyes of our heart”?

"If you listen to truth in any area, the eyes of your mind are grasping ideas. But the apostle tells us here that not only does the mind have eyes, but the heart as well. The heart needs to see things, needs to grasp truth and understand it."  (Ray Stedman)

May the eyes of your heart “see” much joy in the Lord!
