Have you had
your JOY JUICE today? As you begin each
morning, do you look forward to the opportunities that may come your way? Or do you find yourself dreading what MIGHT
happen?
Many times,
as we arise and ready ourselves for the day, we find ourselves under the cloud
of yesterday. We recall the careless
words of someone who hurt us; we worry about the doctor’s report that we’re anticipating;
we stress over situations involving our children. There are days when the last thing we want to
do is “REJOICE”. Yet we know the Bible repeatedly tells us to do so. To name a few:
Philippians 4:4 is always my “go
to” favorite:
·
“Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will
say, rejoice!”
Psalms 32:11 says:
·
“Be glad in the LORD and rejoice, you
righteous ones; And shout for joy, all you who are upright in heart.”
The psalmist in Psalm 118: 24 reminds us that:
·
““This is the day the Lord has made; let us
rejoice and be glad in it.”
LET US
REJOICE….That emphasizes that we have a choice.
We can choose to expect the worst or we can praise the Lord for a new
day and face it with a JOYFUL attitude, anticipating His best plan.
God
has given us this new day to live and to serve him----Let us rejoice and be
glad!
