What kind of role model are
you? If others acted and spoke and
served as you do, would the world be a better place? Do your words and your actions “match” or do
you tell your children to act one way, while you act another?
Marion Jacobsen wrote: “People are
not persuaded, they are attracted. We
must be able to communicate far more by what we are, than by what we say.” In
other words, when people see us, we want our example to be contagious …..in a
good way. If we are serious about our Christian witness to others, we will
strive to----as the scripture says in Ephesians 4:23:
“Be
kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ
God forgave you.”
Do you
desire to be more and more like Christ?
The Bible tells us how. One of my
favorite passages regarding this is found in Colossians 3:12-14.

Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves
with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.
13
Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance
against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.

And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in
perfect unity.
Be
a Christ-filled example of joy!
