Thirsty for Joy

Have you had your JOY JUICE today?  If not, you’re probably getting thirsty!

God made our intricate bodies to need fluids.  If we don’t replenish often, we can become dehydrated…and that can lead to health issues. If you’ve ever experienced extreme thirst, you can identify with the Psalmist in the 42nd chapter who wrote:

“As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, O God.”

Do we thirst after Him as a deer seeks water in order to live?  Do we seek to quench our spiritual thirst as we do our physical thirst?

When we get hot and thirsty, we begin to desire a cold drink of water. We know that there is water inside our home or in the refrigerator at work or a variety of other places that we can retrieve a drink. But simply knowing about that water does nothing to satisfy our thirst; only drinking the water helps.

Examine your life to see if you have signs of spiritual dehydration.  Just knowing about God is not enough to keep us spiritually healthy. God wants us to experience WHO HE is.  Let’s pant after Him and let Him supply us with all the JOY JUICE we can drink on a consistent, daily basis!

Thirst for the joy that can be found at the Fountain of The Living Water.
