Have you had your Joy Juice
today? God’s joy is always ready and
waiting! Just open up your heart and let
Him pour you a personal serving.
Is there a particular prayer that
you’ve prayed and prayed and prayed…maybe for years…and you have not seen God
answer that request? I’m pretty sure all
of us could answer “yes” to that question.
Though our prayers are different, we all know the longing in our hearts
to have a special prayer answered.
We may be tempted to become
discouraged and doubt that God hears or cares. We may blame ourselves because
we are not “good enough” or because of some sin in our past. When thoughts such as these being to creep in,
we are experiencing the condemnation that comes from our enemy, Satan. Conviction comes from the Holy Spirit and its
purpose is to restore our relationship with God. But condemnation is NEVER from
God….It is directly from the enemy who seeks to destroy, discourage, humiliate
and question our relationship with God.
Let’s go to John 8:44 and allow
Jesus to tell us about our enemy, Satan. Jesus says:
“He was a murderer from the beginning, not
holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his
native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.”
Jesus wants us to know that when Satan
condemns us, we MUST NOT listen because he is a liar!
Don’t fall for the enemy’s trap. Our God is a God of truth, love, conviction,
and joyful restoration.
