Joyously Soar On Wings Like Eagles

             Have you had your JOY JUICE today?   Even when you are too weak to lift your own glass, Jesus promises to strengthen you!

Isaiah 40:29-31

²⁹ He gives strength to the weary
    and increases the power of the weak.
³⁰ Even youths grow tired and weary,
    and young men stumble and fall;
³¹ but those who hope in the Lord
    will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
    they will run and not grow weary,
    they will walk and not be faint.

            Sometimes our weakness comes from being sick; other times we truly have physically pushed our bodies to that point of exhaustion.  More often, our weakness comes when we are emotionally and spiritually depleted.  And, as the scripture says, that can happen to anyone at any age.  “Even youths grow tired and weary and young men stumble and fall.”

            What about when we make a bad decision or an ungodly choice?  Suffering the consequences is hard. We are often embarrassed and don’t want to have to face people because of the uncomfortable situation.  Things may even seem hopeless and we truly don’t know what to do.

            The good news is that we can ALWAYS find hope in the LORD.  He promises to “renew our strength” so that we can joyfully “soar on wings like eagles”.

            May we walk in His promise of strength; and find JOY in relationship with Him.
