Be Still and Know the God of Joy

Have you had your Joy Juice today?  Hope you’re not too busy!  Let’s take time to enjoy a serving before we get too stretched and stressed!  We don’t want to miss out on a “joy blessing”!

Our world is so face-paced that truly…many days…we miss some of the blessings that God wants to share with us.  We hit the ground running and don’t slow down long enough to give much thought to our relationship with Him.  We need to find time…daily..to “BE STILL” before God.  To develop a personal relationship with Him, we must spend time in prayer and meditation on His Word.

Listen to Psalm 128:1-2 : ”BLESSED are all who fear the Lord, who walk in His ways. You will eat the fruit of your labor; blessings and prosperity will be yours.”  This Psalm is sometimes called the marriage prayer because it was often sung at Israelite weddings. But we can all glean truth from studying these verses. When we allow God be the true head of the home, He will reward our devotion to him with inner peace and blessings beyond measure.

The values outlined in God’s Word include love, service, honesty, integrity, and prayer.  If we don’t take the time to read and study, then we’re not going to know these principles or what the Bible teaches about them.  We can’t expect to experience pure, genuine JOY in the Lord without digesting a steady spiritual diet of Bible study and prayer.

Let’s slow down and sip the Joy Juice of Jesus so that we’ll be able to share the blessings of love and JOY  with others.
