Have you had your Joy Juice today? Your special serving is always fresh and
ready, no matter what time of the day or night.
When you
pray, do you pray expectantly? By that I
mean, when you ask God for something, do you trust Him to listne and answer
your prayers? Most often God’s timing is
not as quick as we’d like it to be. We
like instant answers….and often we are tempted to give up when it appears that
God has not answered on our timetable.
I love the
way Susie Larson says it: “God is always good.
His promises are always true. And
even when certain chapters of our lives seem to fly in the face of His promises…
so much so that we spout off about His seeming forgetfulness or neglect…He still
stays very much involved, very much in love, and very much attentive to our
redemptive story. Blessed be His name!”
Let those
words soak into the deepest part of your heart.
He always hears us; he never forgets or neglects us. Even when we can’t seem to see or hear Him or
His involvement…HE IS THERE! The words “Blessed be His name!” should remain in
our hearts and on our lips. Joy in the midst of our impatience, understanding
that His timing is always right…that’s what trusting totally is all
about.
Pray
expectantly…and find joy in God’s promises and His perfect timing.
