Have you had your Joy Juice
today? It’s simple to find but not
always easy to swallow!
Most of us would say that we enjoy
being joyful! Laughter lifts our spirits
and a sincere smile comes from a heart of joy.
When you see someone with a sparkle in their eyes, a grin on their face
and uplifting words coming from their lips, then you are drawn to that
person. On the contrary…when approaching
a person who dons a scowl and a wrinkled brow, one whose words spew of
criticism and negatively, we are tempted to turn on our heels and run in the
opposite direction!
Which kind of person are you? The one that people enjoy being around? Or the one that puts people on the run? This week let’s talk about being a “joy
magnet”. Becoming more like Christ in
our daily walk, certainly adds the right kind of attraction.
Each of us was created for a purpose. In
Isaiah 43:7 God says that we were created for his glory. What does it mean to glorify God?
- It means to bring Him honor through what we say, how we act, and how we think.
- To glorify God means to acknowledge His glory and to value it above all things.
- To glorify God means we strive to make Him known to others and
- To have a heartfelt gratitude, a strong faith, love, obedience and a desire to know Him better.
Be a joy-filled, magnetic Christian---attracting others to God as
your glorify Him in your daily walk.
