Have you
had your Joy Juice today? The joy of the
Lord is always available when we are in fellowship with Him.

Corinthians 1:9 says: “God is faithful, through whom you were called into
fellowship with his Son Jesus Christ, our Lord.” Let’s think about that word “fellowship”….We
were created for fellowship with God and called into fellowship with Jesus.
In church
circles, the word “fellowship” has become synonymous with a gathering where
food is served. At my church we have
breakfast fellowships before Sunday School, lunch fellowships many Sundays
after worship service and various “fellowships” where the church family spreads
food together. And there is certainly
nothing wrong with that! It’s great way
to bond with church family.
But we
learn from studying God’s Word that “fellowship” is much more than an eating
meeting! It is a heart issue! We should
desire to share in one another’s troubles, as well as celebrations. We should
laugh together, cry together, work together, play together, and pray together.
Because of our connected hearts, bonded together by the love of Christ, we
should truly live in fellowship with one another.
Even more importantly we must
remember that fellowship with God should be at the top of our priority list! One thing is for certain: genuine fellowship
with Jesus brings an indescribable joy that can never be equaled.
Invite God to join you in your walk through
this day….and drink in the sweet fellowship of joy with Jesus!
