A Joyful Joy-Giver!

            Have you had your Joy Juice today?  Drink up and be sure to share some with others.

            Be a JOY-GIVER!  It’s really simple.  A joy-giver is a person who, first of all, must have joy in his or her heart.  You can’t give something away if you don’t first have it yourself.  Do you have joy? I’m not referring to ‘happiness” or giddiness or …but genuine JOY! Regardless of our circumstances, if we have a personal, authentic relationship with Jesus, then we possess a special kind of joy.  It’s something that no one can take from us, unless we allow them.

            The Jesus tells in John 10:10:

“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.”

            Jesus wants us to have an abundant life….a life filled with joy-blessings! That begins with a relationship with Him and continues as we serve others because of our love for Christ.  That’s how to be a JOY-GIVER.  We can give in many different ways: 

·         Materially

·         Financially

·         Give of our time

·         Give encouragement

·         A listening ear

·         Our presence

·         Give our prayers

With all those ways of giving, when we give…we are sharing joy.  And the wonderful thing about giving with a pure heart is that the joy bounces right back to the giver.  I like to call it Boomerang Joy!

Let God fill your heart with joy so that you can share it abundantly with others…and watch it boomerang back to you!
