Don't Be Rattled! Be Joyful!

Have you had your Joy Juice today?  This day possibly will hold opportunities for fun… and challenges that may rattle you! Regardless, face them with joy in the Lord!

For those of us who are involved with children in any way….we know that they can be such a source of pure joy and love and excitement; but, they can also make us feel “rattled” at times! Speaking of being “rattled”…

Baby rattles are much more than a fun little toy. They can help to teach babies many new skills.
·         When parents or caregivers hold a rattle up, babies might look at the rattle with their eyes. If a parent moves the rattle from side to side, babies learn to visually track, or coordinate their eyes together to watch the moving toy.
·         The sounds a rattle makes can also alert babies to noise.
·         And they’re also great to help develop their fine motor skills as they learn to hold and shake the rattle in the air.

Maybe we should see those times in our lives when we feel “rattled” as opportunities to develop new skills and learn from God. We should remember, amidst the noise of life and the clamor of our busy days, God is always there. When we’re tired and frustrated, overwhelmed and ready to cry like a baby, let’s depend on His strength as Philippians 4:13 reminds us:
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”

Instead of staying “rattled”, be joyful at all times by depending on Jesus!
