Have a JOY-full Valentine's Day!

      Have you had your Joy Juice today?  Express your love for Jesus on this Valentine’s Day by drinking and sharing His JOY with others.

            It occurred to me that every day can be Valentine’s Day when your best friend is Jesus! He expresses His love for us in the little things as well as the big. He doesn’t wait til February 14^th to send His message of love!   We can find love letters every day (written especially for us) in the keepsake box called the Bible.  Long ago, Jesus died on a cross to pay the penalty for your sins and mine.  What a gift…that keeps on giving!

            Throughout the day, try to meditate on the truth found in 1 John 4:8.

 Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. If you can’t remember the entire verse, at least recall the last three words….GOD IS LOVE! 

·         When that critical remark is hurled in your direction, feel God’s arms around you because GOD IS LOVE.

·         When your day gets rushed and you begin to feel overwhelmed, remind yourself that one day you will spend eternity with Jesus, because GOD IS LOVE.

·         If you get some bad news and your heart is breaking, remember that this situation did not catch God by surprise and He is there for you because GOD IS LOVE.

          My prayer is that you will have a JOYfully blessed Valentine’s Day by meditating on the truth that the best gift is the love of God.
