Have you had your JOY JUICE today? Don’t forget to say “Thank You” to God for
supplying your needs.
One of the
first things we try to teach children as they learn to talk is to say the words
“Thank You”. We realize that it’s very
important to express our gratitude; but many times, as we grow older, we forget
to use those very words that we were so careful to try to teach our children. Maybe it’s because we have been sooo blessed,
that we take much for granted. Instead
of an attitude of gratitude, we become indifferent.
Tomorrow is
Thanksgiving Day…a special day set aside to celebrate our blessings. Don’t be indifferent to all the good gifts
that God has given us. When we have a
heart full of thankfulness, we will also overflow with JOY.
1 Thessalonians 3:9 says:
“How can we thank God enough for you in return for all the joy we have
in the presence of our God because of you?
As you
prepare your Thanksgiving meal or make plans to be with family and friends
tomorrow, remember the words of this scripture and thank God for your loved
ones. As I anticipate my children and
grandchildren, mother, siblings, and extended family gathering together around
our table, my heart is bursting with gratitude for how God has blessed us with
His love, provision, protection and, of course, JOY!
Stop long
enough to do an inventory of your blessings.
You, too, will likely find there are too many to count. May our hearts and tongues always be
overflowing with thanks and JOY.
THANK YOU, Father, for our many
blessings. Help us to drink our Joy
Juice faithfully as we count our blessings and remember to be thankful.
