Have you had your JOY JUICE
today? Let me encourage you to drink it
faithfully!
One of the
most positive characteristics that a person can possess (in my opinion) is the gift of “Encouragement”. Some people seem to have a natural
inclination toward edifying and building others up. Others have developed the
skill through the years. But those who
are so natural with sharing encouragement seem to be the ones who have the
God-given gift of exhortation.
What does it mean to have “the gift” of
exhortation? In the New Testament, encouragement and exhortation are
part of the same thing, and often are used to translate the same Greek word.
A person who has the gift of encouragement will most often:- Recognize someone’s need and respond to that need in a caring and appropriate manner.
- They will know what a person needs to hear and they say it in a timely fashion.
- Their way of providing encouragement is unique and fits their own personality and experience.
- They’ll have lots of friends, because people love to be around them! After all, EVERYONE needs encouragement!
Be encouraged to drink your JOY JUICE faithfully and generously share with those God brings into your path today!
