The True Source of Joy

Have you had your Joy Juice today?  We need to start the New Year faithfully drinking it and serving it!

            As we begin a new year, let’s resolve to seek guidance in how to live a more Godly, productive life.  Wouldn’t it be great if we had an instruction manual to tell us how?  Well, good news!  We do!!!!  It’s called the Holy Bible.

            Psalm 119: 11(KJV) says: “Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.”  How do we “hide” God’s word in our heart?

·         By reading the Bible and studying it OFTEN;

·         By memorizing scripture;

·         By applying the truth of His wisdom daily.

·         We need to be so familiar with the scriptures that they become a natural part of our thought process which guide our actions and reactions.  When the   knowledge and truth of scripture is hidden in the depths of our hearts and minds we are walking the Path of Joy.

            2017 is here; and the year lies ahead of us…full of promise.  We know that all things won’t be perfectly wonderful, but we know the One Who will love us relentlessly, protect us vigilantly and provide for us faithfully!  Let’s ask the Lord to give us a desire to study His word so that we might grow in our spiritual walk with Him.

            Joyfully anticipate the opportunities that God will give us this year.  When we are sold out to Him and are following His guidelines in the scripture, we will be able to “count it ALL joy” as James tell us. 

           Drink your Joy Juice as you study your Bible today; it’s the true source of joy!
