Have you had your Joy Juice today? Tis the season to be jolly…fa la la la la, la
la la la!
It’s that
time of year to hear Christmas music everywhere we go! However… Some folks
might choose to rewrite this familiar Christmas tune, singing “Tis the season
to be tired or stressed or even…sad.”
I’m pretty sure that we all prefer to be jolly and joyful, but sometimes
circumstances threaten to steal the JOY out of our Christmas. Things like:
- Sickness
- Loss
- Grief
- Finances
- Wayward children
- Broken relationships
- And just plain BUSYNESS!
Our holidays are often filled with a variety of emotions. Though your heart may be burdened as you face
this Christmas season, let’s be reassured that God knows exactly what we are
going through…and HE CARES. He gave us
His Son, Jesus, to live among us and to die for us. He did that out of selfless, boundless love
for you and me.
We should
take our burdens to Him. He wants to whisper words of comfort, strength, love
and joy into your heart. “He who has
ears to hear, let Him hear.” Jesus said that over and over again in the New
Testament.
Open your
heart & your spiritual ears…you may just hear Him singing, “Tis the season
to celebrate the joy of Jesus.”
May God bless you with a joyous
Christmas season.
