Have you had your Joy Juice
today? Drink in the freshness of
a new season. And enjoy a Springtime
melody brought to us by our feathered friends!
Spring
is a time of refreshment and renewal. Flowers
start blooming, the grass begins to turn green,
and one of my favorite joy-blessings is the matchless music of the
songbirds welcoming each new day.
Nothing is quite as peaceful and refreshing….. It’s as if the birds are
praising God in their own unique language.
Did you
awaken with a song of joy in your heart?
At times we find ourselves burdened and overwhelmed with our
circumstances. Maybe you have a heavy
heart today. If so, let’s be reminded
that we don’t have to wait until everything is “good” in our lives to praise our
good God! We can choose to “practice
joy” even when our hearts are aching. This takes a lot of faith and the
determination to find JOY in all situations.
As we enjoy
a new Spring season, maybe it’s time that we open up the windows of our hearts
and let in the fresh cleansing power of the Holy Spirit. Let’s allow Him to wash away the dirt and
grime that has accumulated in our hearts, and give us a fresh start. The writer of Psalm 33:3 challenges us:
May each of us find our “new song” of joy that God wants to place in each of our hearts.
