Have you
had your Joy Juice today? Hope you had
plenty to last through Christmas!
How quickly
Christmas Day came and went! The rush of
the holidays is coming to a close. But
will we forget why we’ve been celebrating?
Let’s take the JOY of Christmas and share it with others.
That’s what
the shepherds did in Luke 2:15-20:
“When the angels had left them and gone into heaven, the shepherds said
to one another, ‘Let’s go to Bethlehem
and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about.’ So they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph
and the baby, who was lying in the manger.
When they had seen him, they spread the word concerning what had been
told them about his child; and all who heard it were amazed at what the
shepherds said to them. But Mary treasured up all these things and pondered
them in her heart. The shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all
the things they had heard and seen, which were just as they had been told.”
These
shepherds were overjoyed at the revelation of the truth and they went about
excitedly spreading the word!
How about
you and me? Do our lives reflect that
kind of excitement? Though Christmas day
is over, let’s strive to joyfully and excitedly take the good news with us
wherever we go, every day of the year.
What better way is there to share the JOY of the Lord?
Don’t leave the joy of Jesus
just for Christmas time. Take it with
you everywhere, every day!
