Have you
had your Joy Juice today? Sincere joy in
the Lord is a valuable treasure!
Don’t you
love to discover a treasure? Treasures
come in all shapes and forms. There is
the treasure of:
- Family
- Friendships
- Old letters with personal messages
- Pictures of times gone by
- Sweet memories
- Hugs from loved ones
- Shared laughter with friends
- Kind words of encouragement
Each of these treasures doesn’t
hold monetary value but something much deeper and more valuable. Money and material possessions pale in
comparison to treasures of the heart.
In
Matthew 13:44 Jesus refers to treasure: “The kingdom of heaven is like treasure
hidden in a field. When a man found it,
he hid it again, and then in his joy went and sold all he had and bought that
field.”
Have you
discovered your hidden treasure? Do you
know that God has prepared special treasures just for you? One of those treasures is the joy you will
find when you have clear direction in your life by following Him. The joy
jewels from His treasure chest are priceless!
May we live out Psalm 16:11 that says, “You make known to me
the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence…”
